My first blog!

Where shall I start? Well I have 25 years of travel to catch you up on, long before blogs ever existed 😁.

I plan to tell you all about my experiences but also help you with suggestions and ideas for your own travel.

When I started traveling and experiencing the world I was single and 21.

Holidaying with friends, party resorts, becoming a holiday rep which was just the best job ever!

Getting to travel between seasons to amazing far away places with my travel discounts and then settling back into UK life working in a high street travel agent called Thomas Cook.

I learned a lot about travelling which helped me hugely in many of my future employment and also about matching destinations to people's requirements.

I was promoted to Customer Service Manager and worked in the business for over 10 years.

I then moved on to another passion of mine - Sports and Athletics in particular for 15 years before returning to travel recently with my own business alongside teaching English to students from overseas.

So it's all come together with three things I really love.

I now use all my experiences to be able to source deals in Sports, UK trips, Europe and Far Away.

In 2005 I spent 4 months travelling South America and learning Spanish, exploring Argentina, Chile, Peru, Ecuador and Costa Rica. I've worked in Mallorca, Lanzarote and Corfu. And my all time No1 destination is the awe inspiring and unique island of CUBA!

I've visited 17 times both as a package holiday tourist, an independent traveller and with my family touring the island, visiting friends and people who are now my own family.

So that brings you up to date more or less as an overview.
